Getting ready for a feast tomorrow! Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday because, well, I really enjoy eating. We're heading over to the cousins' household and piggin' out there. I'm making a chicken pesto pasta and some chocolate covered pretzels (with almonds because I'm nutty). Maybe I'll post some pics later. 


I've been itchin' to go somewhere. My plans to move to Aussie land fell through. I've got a new job now --- Workin' for The Search Engine Guys! It's fun and I really do enjoy everyone there. So far so good. 


But, I've still got my heart set on Aussie land next!


Speaking of Aussies, I like to watch this girl named Natalie Tran. Maybe I'm just obsessed with Australians but she's got a fun video blog on YouTube. 

Ok, so to add on to my alien dreams, I have dreams about monsters. Crazy creatures from out of no where! 


Last night I had sleep paralysis -- probably my third time to experience this and it still freaks me out. In my dream, I know I was having sleep paralysis too. It's so real, your body feels everything. In my dream, I woke up to write about my dream even! I had gotten out of bed, grabbed a piece of paper, and wrote down symbols and words so that I would remember what the dream was about. Well, apparently that didn't happen because I was still dreaming! (I apologize for overusing the word "dream") 


There was a monster, a creepy guy with orange bob on his head. He was definitely balding since I could see parts of his scalp. And a little girl with two buns on the top of her head -- she was jumping on my bed and laughing. Then she jumped out of my window. After that a guy with a Scream mask on comes in and starts punching my face, but every time he punched me, his hand turned into vapor, so I never got hurt. 


My body was stiff. I tried to pull out my arms from underneath my hugging pillow, but it was stuck. Not like a hugging pillow is heavy or anything, but my arm just didn't work! My chest and back couldn't move. My legs are actually sore from being so tense last night. But one thing that creeps me out -- I can always move my left arm. It takes some effort, but I can move my left arm. This time, I used my left arm to grab my phone to call for help. Of course, the phone didn't work and I was on my bed alone with monsters! 


The first time I had sleep paralysis, I was getting attacked by a squirrel. Embarrassing, yes. I've had a squirrel bite me before, so that explains the nightmare! 

I've been dreaming about aliens lately.
Maybe this symbolizes that I am feeling alienated. Is that too direct of an interpretation? 

I must be terrible at this. I spend countless hours on the internet, but I've been failing in the blogging department.

What's been happening?

I quit Golden Wok. That definitely needed to happen. It was time to move on. I figured I needed to do it spontaneously, that or I'll be there forever.

I'm working for a music recording studio called Hideout Studios. It's awesome. I couldn't ask for better managers and a more awesome coworker. I enjoy meetings with them.

Traveled to San Francisco, Vegas again, just got back from Cozumel. I'll post pictures soon.

Having some time off from working is nice. I get to sit back, relax, catch up with friends... BUT getting nagged every day by my mother is NOT nice. You know, I'm going to blame this on the current recession right now that I cannot find a career, but secretly it's working in my favor because I'm having way too much fun. I think folks like me, undergraduates that are so eager to find their next career move but can't, should take time out and look at this in a more positive light. Now is the time to do whatever you want! No career to hold you down -- life's starting to become  a vacation for me. Haha!

What I'm saying is-- people take what they've got for granted. Life's too short to be worrying about the future all of the time, so whynot just live in the moment? Utilize your time here on earth. Do what makes you happy.
